The National Cash Register Co. mechanical cash register (1) constructed with an arched brown metal housing and an extended wooden cash drawer partitioned into four interior compartments. The lower trim piece displays stamped lettering reading "The National Cash Register Co. DAYTON, OHIO, U.S.A." An oval silver-toned metal identification tag fastened with two flathead screws is marked with "S-774079" and "711". The upper section incorporates a glass indicator display with pop-up flags and key levers marked with denominations including $1, 90, 80, 70, 60, 50, 40, 35, 30, 25, 20, 15, 10, 5, and "NO SALE" set above a white shelf plate.
