Acme egg-grading scale (1) by The Specialty Mfg. Co., constructed of cast and stamped sheet metal. The balance-beam mechanism incorporates a rectangular base plate, a central pivot standard, a circular weighing pan on the right, and a tiered fan of stepped metal indicator blades slotted into a numbered upright guide on the left. The graduated blades are numbered 18 through 26 with vertical wire separators. Stamped and embossed markings read "ACME EGG-GRADING SCALE", "PAT. JUNE 24 1924", and "THE SPECIALTY MFG. CO. ST. PAUL, MINN. U.S.A."
