Gladys Dixon framed desert landscape oil painting (1), dated 1967. Rendered with impasto on canvas measuring 14 1/2 x 18 1/4 inches, the composition centers on a flowering yucca with a thick white bloom, textured green leaves, and a brown trunk, set against low desert cacti beneath a light blue sky with clouds. The painting is signed "Gladys Dixon / '67" and mounted in a dark-stained wood frame with a fabric liner and a gold-tone inner fillet.
