Hand-painted oval wood plaque (1) executed over natural vertical wood grain with a beveled green-painted rim. The composition centers on delicate botanical and entomological studies, depicting pink and white blossoms with articulated yellow stamen details, budding flora, and slender brown branches flanked by green foliage, observed alongside a yellow and black swallowtail butterfly rendered directly upon the timber surface.
