Needlework embroidery rendered in textured colored yarn on open-weave canvas depicts a cottage with a red roof, garden pathway, trellis, and an array of blossoms in white, blue, orange, yellow, and shades of pink set against foliage and fencing. The textile work is mounted to a rectangular backing board finished with gold-colored paint and secured around the perimeter with small tacks. The reverse bears a handwritten 14x11 marking.
