Ceramic vase with an openwork relief composition of a chickadee amidst foliage. The vessel is modeled in matte tan ceramic with an oval aperture at the top and a light blue glazed interior. A cut-out central opening is bordered by green glazed relief holly leaves with a red berry at the rim, framing a three-dimensional sculpted songbird rendered in black, grey, and white glazes perched upon a branch. The underside of the oval base is painted reddish-brown with a light-toned rim and bears the marked text "Poot".
